Thermal dynamics 60i how to:

Ok ladies and gents I think I figured it all out. So my hypertherm 30xp finally croaked and I had to get a new power supply. I started looking and found I could get way way more capacity out of the thermal dynamics for the same cost as my old power supply. Ordered it online from OIC welding supply. Everything is good so far. I opted for the CNC interface card and figured I’d upgrade to a machine torch later and for now tie into the trigger control. Easier said than done but here’s what you need to know if you follow the same path as I did.

You have to take the sheet metal off the power supply including all the handles, from there static bracelet time, remove the knock out from the back of the power supply. You will need two small screws with washers and bolts to mount the card, plug it in. All dip switches set to off with hand torch.
For temporary I crimped some pins into pin 3 and 4 of the CNC plug. ( this was for testing)
Cut first part far right:
