Windows

If you are running Windows 10 on our computer, then your computer will automatically install the appropriate drivers when first plugging in the unit to your computer and the THC device should auto-connect in FireControl and function as intended.

If you are using Windows 7 or 8 you will need to manually install the driver package using the instructions below.

  1. Unplug any USB devices connected to your Windows Computer including the CrossFire electronics enclosure.
  2. Navigate to our Downloads page. Select the file and download. After downloading the file, navigate to your downloads folder and unzip the file and run the installer.
  3. Reconnect your USB devices and the CrossFire THC unit should be recognized and auto-connected in FireControl software as intended. To verify that your device is plugged in and recognized, navigate to ‘Device Manager’ from the Windows Control Panel. Click the down arrow next to ‘Ports (COM & LPT)’ and you should see the device ‘USB-SERIAL CH340’ connected. I realize your running Windows 11. But you may need to download load the file directly.
