I recently set up my XR, ran the break In program, no issues. Created a job in sheet cam, loaded into fire control, ran a dry run, no issues. Went to cut with the THC on smart voltage, machine moved to the first cut, torched fired and then didn’t move. Ran the same job, with THC off, every thing worked as it should . Ran a THC test and it came back with low voltage. Using a hypertherm XP45, with the connection cable from Langmuir.
What am I over looking?
What error code did fire control throw ?
Can you post your G-Code from the failed cut?
Are you using smart voltage or writing in a nominal voltage?
No error code, torch just fired and sat in the same position
I tried both smart and nominal voltage ,same results, torch would fire but not move.
Turn off THC it cut the part no issues
