I’ve assembling my X/Y lead screws in my CrossFire. There is a step where you are supposed to secure the lead screws to the bearings with a cap screw and a washer. None of my lead screws have a hole tapped in one end. I’ve got the XL kit so I’ve got an X lead screw, and two Y lead screws, one short and one long. None of them have a tapped hole in the end. Are the instructions out of sync with the newer kits?
Nevermind, if I had read ahead in the instructions then I would have seen there is a lead screw coupler that attaches to the bearing side
