If I was having problems I would be sure to look at system ground. Either poor ground or ground loops can cause untold issues. Ground loops are really tough to detect and sometimes even tougher to eliminate. If you a voltmeter then check that there is no voltage difference (AC or DC) between any metal or electronic component.

I believe one member actually posted a video about how he was getting feedback through the torch itself?
Only after tracing things with a multimeter did he find the issue.
