Hello new to cutting. My straight cut feature works fine and cuts just fine however any program I’ve loaded pierces then shuts off and throws the error, “torch moving before sensing cutting voltage”. I’ve used files i made with the initial tutorials on langmuir website and also downloaded multiple files from fireshare. In addition, i have maxed pierce delay override to 500% and it will fire and stay on longer but wont start cutting pattern and moving. Any help is appreciated.
Can you post a screenshot of the settings you are using for your post processing?
I have never used any pierce delay override, and simply rely on the actual pierce delays I enter for my post processing.

2T/4T setting on the plasma cutter? Should be 2T. What plasma cutter do you have?

The Firecontrol pierce delay can only be increased 200% so not sure where you are getting the 500% either.
THC equipped and is it on or off?
Probably should post your cut file, or at least a screen shot of the first 20 lines or so.
Create a new text document, then open the .nc file from there in text.

Figured it out. Someone had stepped onto plug of THC and plug was broken off inside box. Easy fix. Thabks for all your help.

I very seldom use the straight line cut feature. I have never noticed if it utilizes the THC.
Was you doing straight line cuts with the THC turned off?
It must not because with the plug out straight line cut still worked fine. Only programs wouldnt cut.
