Spreadsheet for pierce height and cut heights

How do we find Langmuir spreadsheet for pierce heights and cut heights.

There is no spreadsheet available. The cut height should be set to 0.06, and the pierce height should always range between 0.12 and 0.15.
These settings have worked for everything I have ever cut on my table.

How do we make sure or check the heights?

cut height test.tap (224 Bytes)
Put this in FireControl as a file. No you won’t be able to open it. But FireControl can. You can then measure the distance between the torch and the metal. Feeler gauge?

In were Mr. Bigdaddy?

Load it as a file you would be cutting in FireControl. What is your cut height set in fusion?
I have only used it one time. But some of our rocket scientists will let you know how to use it.

Your Fusion settings should be
Cut .06
Back lash .02
Pierce .12~.15
Delay depending on what you are cutting
Clearance 1.0

Download the file into your downloads folder. Open Firecontrol. Click on the up arrow next to where it says “load file” or something like that in the upper left. It will open a file explorer window. Find your downloads folder and click on the file that you downloaded. That will open the file in Firecontrol. Hit start.

That program will cycle the torch down to the metal and then raise up to .060". Measure with feeler gauge or a piece of 16ga metal.

At least you’re doing all the research before you buy the table. Just take your time and get it figured out beforehand. Start with the info on Langmuirs website and Google general plasma cutter information.
