When I got my table and was assembling, I noticed one of the carriage weldments was fixtured incorrectly when welded and wasn’t square. I ended up setting both in a knee mill and kissing the flanges to make them the same size and square to the cross angle. The X and Y are squared off the bearing block faces so felt this needed to be done but probably not an issue for most.
