i would like to know if i real have to use fusion or mac3 or can i use a different soft wear to run everything and will fire control run as a separate program and run on its own, and is sheet cam a separate program run on its own
You can’t use Mach 3 with the Pro - FireControl takes its place.
You need a design program and a manufacturing or toolpath generation program. Fusion does both but can be complicated to learn.
Inkscape (or Corel Draw or Affinity Designer) can be used to design your projects if Fusion is too much work (or $).
Sheetcam can generate your toolpaths and the code FireControl will use to cut your projects. Fusion can do that too. Many people find Sheetcam is easier to use.
i am having a problem installing sheet cam it will not install at all it kicks out and from what i see it is not a exe program
A screen shot or more descriptive explanation would give someone the info to help you.
i get a note from the computer that says what program do you want to use to start the program
And what is the exact name of the program you are trying to run?
sheetcam_setupv6.1.57-64 and the licence number
what is the file extension? Right click on it and look at properties. Also, what is the filesize?

are you running a windows 10 computer? if so, you need to download the version SheetCam TNG V6.0.30
the one you’re trying to install is for linux.

you got the wrong version as i stated above.
ok thank you i will try to change it for the right one if i can get a hold of some one from the that company they seem to be hiding
