So you think you can weld

I have the Primeweld 225X, I like it but am just a hobby user and a beginner Tig welder so consider the source. I Think @TinWhisperer bought the Primeweld 325X back in the spring. Perhaps he has enough time on it now that he could give a review.

We’re running an AHP 203 and love it. However, (and I’m sure it applies to other TIG setups as well), we had to opt for a water cooled torch. (1/8 Tungsten @ 159A was melting the 17-series torch that it came with.) Now, the 18-series with a cooler will run (almost) all day with no issues.

I’ve had mine for about 8 years or so - never a hiccup.

Dang I love me some fireball tool. I already have a few of their squares (cast iron mega, 2 aluminum minions). I really need to upgrade from my DEFINITELY not flat “for now” welding table (3/16 sheet on top of fabricobbled pipe structure)…

For significantly less, why not just get some thicker steel laser cut?

I like it but oh my, the cost.

Get some advice from BigDaddy on the gamble of bidding on storage lockers! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I bought this cart for my welder and a semi-work bench. Perhaps this could be modified to suit your needs. Not MY table but a table :
