Sign for my daughter

Decided to cut a quick sign yesterday for my daughter. I am really happy with how it turned out.

As always I welcome everyone’s input on how to get better.

Thanks,
Andrew

I like how you have the Es on her name extending outside the frame - looks a bit different than most where the full name is inside. Nice technique when the initial is repeated at the start & end of the name.

Thank you for your comments!

That is absolutely beautiful, very nice work.
Classy but simple, great job!

What material and machine are you using?

Thank you @ctgolfer.

@brownfox I am using 16 gauge steel, and my machine is a Everlast Powerplasma 50s.

Looks great. I hope my results are as good. No warping or issues with the thin unsupported flourishes?

That’s what I’ve been most curious about while waiting for my table. Just how detailed I can be without having to do a bunch of clean up or correction.

No warping that I could tell. There was a small amount of dross on the back but if you drop it on the ground that takes care of a good amount. The rest is easily removed with a pair of pliers.

Nice job! I usually use 14g, and a different font, think it’s name is Gabriola. Im sure she loves it! Looks like we have the same split letter files.
