SheetCam - posting issue

Craig 1…Yes to all 3 views. When I push the icon (third picture ) …nothing happens.

At this point its probably easier / quicker emailing sheetcam for support.

If you ever need to contact Sheetcam for customer support about a problem or troublesome use case with the product, please prepare a Support.zip file for us using the following procedure. Send it to sales@sheetcam.com.

To create a support file, Click Help then ‘Create a support file’

Its says in the procedure to create the post but you cant do that part. I tried to create a support file with out the post process part and it still works. I’m sure they will guide you if more info is needed.

Thanks for the advice. I will send a note to sheet cam and see what they advise. I am tempted to uninstall and reinstall the software to see if that helps.

Ok, I think I now what the problem is/was. It would not post because it did not recognize the license. I double clicked the license in a file and tried it gain now I was able to post. That being said…I am surprised I was able to do all the set up, programing with the license not active. So I will need to find out if I need to have the license in a specific folder for it to continually work.

Confirmed… That has been the problem all along…It did not recognized the license. Just posted 3 projects no issues.

One final question…when you open the operation PROCESS box, on the BASIC tab what does the 'Overcut " line mean and should that be a specific setting other than zero?

Overcut is the distance that you want it to travel past the start of the cut on a cut loop. It is usually not needed (I never use it), but it can be helpful if your cuts don’t finish or if you want to go past the start to eliminate the small bump that sometimes occurs at the start/end point.

The more helpful value for me is the “pause at end of cut” in the tool setting. You can set an amount of time for the program to pause after each cut loop. This helps to give you time to catch any parts that tip up and may cause a crash, before the torch starts moving to the next cut.
