Sheetcam 7.0.10 incomplete post ISSUES - SOLVED

Hi All,

I am using sheetcam 7.0.10,
I have installed and selected v1.6 post processor

I import my dxf and change the layers of the holes and outlines,
add plasma operations

then post the project, no matter what the file this is the output I get

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong, I have even tried uninstalling and starting from scratch but no luck

I am not sure where or what to try next, any ideas?

not sure if this is related but in the debug window it says

Assert failure in function wxCSConv::wxCSConv (C:\wx-3.0\wxWidgets\src\common\strconv.cpp:2873). invalid encoding value in wxCSConv ctor (“Assert failure”)

I have tried another post, I am starting to think this maybe a sheetcam issue

I have managed to find an old copy of sheet cam,

it now generates code, so must be an issue with sheetcam

It could be a license issue. There are some pirated licenses floating about that won’t work on later versions of SheetCam. If you PM or email me your license serial number I’ll check it for you.

Hi Les,

not registered / got a license yet, still using the limited free version to learn on to make sure the workflow works first before purchasing, so not sure if that is the issue I thought it was good for 180 lines

the 7.0.10 was the file downloaded recently directly from sheetcams site. But fortunately I found a very old version in my downloads folder I had downloaded when I first bought my machine. version 6.1.47 maybe

As above, I tried everything to get the new version to output something but could not get it to work, the old version was seamless.

The only problem I could find was the error logs listed above, I’ll prob stick with this version and try again once there is an update.
