cutting first parts, no real issues with software or plasma cutter. but random times a lead screw/motor set screw will need tightening which is really bad because it will mess up the cut and waste steel.
anybody else have this issue? loc tight or ?
Loctite doesn’t hurt, however all of our machines here run fine with no loctite and the set screws never come loose. Loosening set screws typically means they weren’t tight enough initially.

could be, maybe that’s why its never the same set screw. I’ll check them all. other wise everything is working fine. slowly learning to draw parts in 360, very nice.

I had this happen. Somehow on assembly I must’ve missed it on the video… but I didn’t realize the motor shafts had a flat spot for the set screw to engage. (Duh makes sense since most set screws engage a flat spot when used on a shaft. But I still missed that)…I was getting loosening till I realised and fixed my stupid mistake.
