Soo have this error. Machine is a legacy machine running mach 3, I have the full mach 3 license.
Used the machine couple nights ago, worked flawless. Bout some new/longer cable to get the laptop away from the fumes, turn it on and this is what I have.
My first thought after looking it up, bad cable (ran it over or something), new one tossed in today, no difference.
I then uninstall mach 3, reinstall it as mentioned I’m another thread, and no change.
I try all the different computer ports, and nothing.
Popped the cover off the control box, stepper motors have power (blue/green LEDs are on), but no lights are on the main board.
Is this a bad board, or something else? Thanks in advance.
Shut down Mach 3, unplug USB, restart your computer. Wait until booted, plug in USB cable (You should hear Windows system sound that a new device is plugged in), start Mach 3. If same error, then something messed up your driver installation.
BTW, Welcome to the forum.
You should have a flashing red light on the system board when the driver is installed and USB connected.
I’d look in Device Manager under USB devices and see what’s listed. If you have an unknown device, then the driver isn’t installed properly. If nothing shows up, then it’s a bad port, cable, or Mach3 USB board.
