Repinning PTM-60 for Everlast 62i

Hello all,

I got a CrossFire with an Everlast 62i cutter and PTM-60 torch used, and have been having an issue getting the pilot to light. I was able to scratch start, however. In my troubleshooting, I noticed the pins on the torch do not match the unit. I cannot find any documentation that specifically calls out the correct pinout. On the torch end, I have a red and blue wire that go to the contacts on the cap, and then two black wires that come out of a red wire that runs into the torch body (they are a closed circuit).

Torch needs at least 70 psi to fire correctly. The electrode should move up and snap back down like the video.

The machine torch should have 4 pins. 9 & 2 are the torch in place pins and the 4 & 7 pins are pilot arc. There are no trigger pins on a machine torch.

Thank you for that wiring diagram, it really clarified things! Any tips for a pin that’s stuck in the connector (torch side)? I was able to pull all the others out except for the one thats in 1, and the locking mechanism seems to only be “active” when terminated with a wire pin, so I don’t really know what’s holding it in there.
