I have a RW45 that works fine on the crossfire, but will no longer fire by using the trigger manually. After reading some posts i think i have an issue with the cup pins, one sticks out to touch the ring while the other doesnt. is it broke off? if so where would i find a replacement? thanks,
@mechanic416 should be able to steer you to some parts (or a fix of some sort).
That looks like the common “ready to fire” or safety setup
The shield cap has a metal ring around it, and when installed, completes the circuit between the two pins
This circuit runs together with your trigger firing, which too completes the circuit when pulled
When the retaining cap is removed, it will prevent from the torch being able to fire due to the incomplete circuit
Some people just open the torch up and connect the two leads to those pins together
It looks like the pin is stuck in. Put one drop of WD40 or light oil on the pin and use a pick to try and work it in and out to see if it will free up.
You can replace it if needed just contact me.
I do not recommend on bypassing it but that’s your call there.
