Razorcut 45 No air No fire

Just assembled my XR with razor cut 45 a week ago Saturday. Everything went together well, and I was able to design and cut no problem. On Sunday I tried to cut out a bracket for my can am and the torch would not fire. I can hear the relay click in the box trying to turn it on but no dice. I’m also not getting any air out of the torch. I did the THC test and failed. I clicked torch fire but again no fire. I did get it to work again by pressing the air purge button a couple times yesterday. After that I was able cut parts with no issue for the rest of the day. Today I have the same problem, except now the air purge doesn’t work either. I’ve been poring through all the threads I can find but I’m coming up empty. Thanks in advance for any input. Below I will leave a list of the other things I have tried from other threads.

checked all my wires to and from the div box.
I flipped the cnc ports just to be sure they were correct.
checked my ground clamp.
I have all the usb isolators in the correct places.

Thinking I will try a hand torch and see if that works. I appreciate any input!

Edit: I did try a hand torch and still no air or fire.

The only wire that controls the torch firing, is the “torch on/off” wire.

You can test the plasma cutter by shorting across the two pins on the port on the front of the plasma cutter. If the torch fires when you short across those pins, the problem is in the wire that goes to the control box or the relay on the board. It’s easy to step on the wire and break it at the connector.

If the air test switch on the plasma doesn’t work, it’s probably a bad air solenoid or one of the wires to the solenoid is loose/broken.

Maybe have the torch mount too tight and binding up the internals?

I thought about that too, but still no fire or air with a hand torch either.

i would not assume that the issue has anything to do with the plasma table. in my experience the problem is often with the plasma cutter.

I have had a plasma cutter with the exact same symptoms which was not connected to a cnc table. i didn’t want to mess with it so i gave it to a friend who replaced the air selenoid and the machine was back in business.

if the air purge worked once it’s just a sign that the selenoid was going bad.

I snagged a used plasma off eBay. Plugged it in and everything works perfectly. I’m going to get a new air relay for original plasma and see if I can get it going. Thanks for all the input!
