Razorcut 45 continues to release air for 20 sec

I just got started with my new crossfire XR with a Razorcut45. after the parts are cut, it continues to release air from the torch for about 18 seconds?
is it a setting in sheetcam, or in the razorcut45 setup?

this is what it is supposed to do…it is called post flow cooling…it cools the torch head…without it you will warp the electrode…

oh ya…welcome to the forum…

I just thought that 18 seconds was a bit overkill.
Thanks for the reply

hell no…I run mine for at least 30 seconds…

I run mine 30 seconds also

Considering that the Hafnium electrode tip can reach 4000°F, 18 seconds is not enough. I know it’s extremely annoying especially when your torch is stopped over a cut out and splashing water everywhere, but it saves your consumables. I try to jog the machine over a solid piece to minimize the mess.

makes sense, thanks you
is it nessesary to earth ground the table?

my table is not earth grounded…no need for it…
just do not have a ground on your laptop if you plug it in…
