Always put the work clamp on the metal. Not the slats or table.

*Update on my stupidity * ok so it turns out my issues had nothing to do with settings !! Upon further investigation seems I’ve blown out my consumables SMFH !!! I’ve been plasma cutting (by hand held only ) for 15 years or better and usually I can tell just by the sound . I must be slipping in my old age !! Thank you all for the info!! As you can tell I’m not the brightest bulb in the bunch and can use all the help I can get !! Oh and btw … I’ve begun to attach the ground to the work not the table !! Another great tip !! Lol there’s been times I’ve ysed a 6’ piece of scrap flat bar if I couldn’t get a good ground in something and plasma cut somthing off a trailer or somthing. But again that was with a hand torch .
