Razor 45 Fine Tip?

I’ve seen plenty of posts about a fine cut tip for the Razor45, but not a link to a product.

I have the tip that the 45 came with and am cutting 20GA galvanized with water table at about 25 AMPs.

Will this get me a finer cut?

Hypertherm 45XP 65 and 85 FineCut Nozzle, 5/pk- 220930

Also, what is the standard tip that comes with the R45?

You don’t state what torch you’re running.

The nozzles the user posted some +3 years ago are that of a Hypertherm Duramax torch.

As far as I know, the machine torch offered by Razorweld with their machine uses the old T45 style consumable.

So no, they will not work as they are physically larger.

What people did back in the day is use old Powermax 30 consumables (30 amp limited) as they have a smaller kerf, and fit on the T45 style torch.

Thanks for the response. I have the machine torch that langmuir sold me with the razor45. I was able to find a member that sells the consumables for that torch so I can achieve a finer cut. I placed the order and will wait to see. Thanks again.

Just like the information you had hoped to find from a 3 year old post, maybe share the information regarding the consumables you found and who the member is :rofl:

My plan was to share the information I gathered In a new post for others like myself who could not find a clear answer on using fine tips on their razor 45. Once the consumables arrive I will test and post pics and share links to where I purchased them. Thanks.

I’m unsure if George sells anything for the T45 series but he sells genuine goods for many different plasma cutters.

Everyone else, unless it’s a Genuine Hypertherm, will be a low quality copy. One name that comes to mind is Plasmadyn as we already have lots of members coming in with issues about their torches not working and more.

the machine torch i got with my razor cut last year when i bought my xr table is the t45 style i bought some hypertherm consumables but they did not fit. thats when i realized i had the t45 machine torch
