I hated having the torchfire cable hanging out of my plasma at all times so I decided to add a jack for it. Especially with the cable only being 3 or 4 feet long to begin with.
I used a standard 5.5mm DC jack found on amazon and ordered a 5.5mm double male cable 10 feet long. The entire thing probably cost me $10 and an hour of time.
I cut the plate with the crossfire out of 14g plate. It is 0.750 x 2.00". I used a #8-32 screw to secure it and the hole for the jack will depend on which jack you buy.
The only actual modifications to the plasma cutter was removing the cnc port cover and drilling the 3/16" hole for the mounting screw to go through.
