Raw voltage in fire control

Having an issue with voltage in fire control. I recently switched from divided voltage to raw voltage. I thought I might have the black and red wire crossed from clamp to torch. I made 2 test cuts and observed 4.4v both times in fire control with the wires switched both times.

For some reason, I thought if it wasn’t wired right I wouldn’t get any voltage or a negative.

Black (-) lead should go to the torch and red (+) goes to the “work” clamp.

Just for clarity, what is your plasma cutter?

Its a Everlast 62!

I switched the leads and it cut the same I wouldn’t tink it would do that.

Do you switch ports on the cable going from the vim to control box?

How did you connect your raw voltage?

Did you make these raw voltage connections at CPC port or internally at the main lugs of the machine ?

I went to the lugs.
Give me a day I need to catch you up on where I’m at trying to solve this problem.

Did you get my message haven’t heard anything back from you.

Why not just post here? Many members can easily help.

Could you take and post photos of exactly hoe this is hooked up. pictures of every area wires are plugged in.

The results of your THC are only 4.4 volts ?

to Recap everything is working on your machine besides the newly attached THC?
