Question RE Crossfire - Shop Placement

Just ordered a Crossfire Pro… I have a 2 story 4 car garage and was originally going to put the Crossfire downstairs in the garage (cement floor but has all bays occupied with antique cars)… Upstairs I have a lot more room as I use that as my office (software engineer). Now thinking of separating the upstairs so I can have a clean side and a metal fab side…

Any concerns with having the cnc table on second floor of garage?

Any recommendation on separating the room? - thinking of using something like ZipWall to get started…

ps - I plan on only working on smallish projects so I know the big downside is hauling materials up and down stairs… Also, I’m fine running electric and air upstairs too… Also, I have windows so I can also vent…

Thank you for sharing your knowledge / experience…
Dave

Well no matter how well you seal it off its a very dirty process (metal fabrication) and dirt will find its way in and make a mess.
You might want to see how your ins carrier feels about it.
Would have to put something on the floor and walls that would not burn.
