QCAD/QCAM software

I currently have an Arcdroid and am learning QCAD/QCAM as the simple trace feature on the ArcDroid isn’t accurate enough for me… If I get an Crossfire will the same software work? I don’t want to learn Fusion.

I am probably going to either sell the Arcdroid or take it to our vacation home and put it in the shop there. Needing a larger table for the home shop. Thanks

The CAD part will work fine. The CAM won’t work unless you can write a post processor for Firecontrol or get QCAD to make one. Sheetcam costs $150 for a lifetime license and it works great for the CAM portion.

@ds690 , DFavid is right…you can still draw with the QCAD…if you want to…there are many other vector based drawing programs out there…
use what you feel comfortable with.

Sheetcam is the other CAM software that LAngmuir uses and it works very well and I found very easy to use…
