Problems setting up the Mini Computer on the XR

I just finished the assembly process of my XR which went very smoothly and the instructions were very easy to follow. when I got to the part where I am suppose to set up the mini computer (MC4000) that’s where it all fell apart. I turned on the computer and it took me directly to the desktop, did not prompt me to make a windows account as it showed it would in the instructions. come to find out there is no windows activation key on the device and it is unusable. it also is not the MC4000 that is shown in the instructions, maybe a newer unit? has anyone had an issue like this and what computer came with your XR? the tag on the back of mine says the model number is TX60.

I have been trying to get ahold of them for days and cant get through to anyone. left voicemails and support requests and no reply.

I just finished this step myself a few days ago. Definitely a newer unit than shown in the videos/assembly instructions. I was not prompted to create a windows account either, nor was I promoted for any windows activation key though. I had no issues connecting to wifi then downloading the new graphics driver and then firecontrol after. Sorry this probably doesnt help your issue though it may narrow down your issue to needing a replacement PC if you’re locked out of it due to not being able to complete setup.

Not to take away from your issue. You deserve to get it resolved since it is something you paid for. You can use any PC or laptop that will run fire control and have the proper connection. I assume the XR connects by USB. Until it is resolved.

Unsure if another tech has reached out to you or not but you would be correct that it is a newer PC as the older MC4000 was getting dated and with Windows 10 being EoL we decided to get the PC’s updated. Working on getting those assembly pages corrected to get things lined up, so I do apologize for any confusion.
