The manual for the Hypertherm says I need an in line air flow and pressure regulator.
Pressure 110 - 120 psi
Flow Rate 210 slpm = 450 scfh = 7.5 scfm
Anyone know where I can get one of these? The only ones I can find are a tiny fraction of that flow rate.
Or have you folks just been hooking up directly to shop air without a flow regulator?
I see the PSI gauge and the needle valve to control flow.
What I don’t see is a flow meter gauge.
Are you going without one?
My Hypertherm powermax 45 xp plasma cutter sets its own air psi electronically. You want 100-125 psi air supply to regulator from air compressor, then set air psi at plasma torch to 70psi on most machine torch applications.
So you have a psi gauge but not a flow rate gauge?
The manual says to have both.
Don’t need a flow rate gauge, I have 3 hp ,60-gallon air compressor with 3/4" air line from my compressor to my filter system, no air flow or air supply problem.
