The cables for the THC and torch on are under this rail. Will having the power cords this close to those cables cause interference? I suppose I should have a surge protector in here which could be mounted to the leg.
The main cable you want to protect is the USB … you also want to make sure you computer is protected as well if you will be using a laptop stand.

I always wonder how many people actually keep their computer mounted to the table like that after the first time they cut something. There is an awful lot of sparks, water and metal dust flying around in that area.

I see your point, but I have a very small shop. The computer would be close no matter what.

The USB cord is short very short. The first time you cut something in that corner you will see… water will splash all over it if you are not careful.

I agree, the xr is the same…and its essentially factory mounted there. its so close it even gets table fluid splashed on it.

Thanks for the input about splashing. I haven’t actually cut anything yet. I may have to make an extension that will fold in when not in use.
