Power Cord Length

Just a suggestion but let’s just say not everyone will install their table with the electronics box on the same side as the wall you put it next to  Now I have to buy an 8’ cord as I HATE extension cords unless it’s for a temporary use, just looks unprofessional.

Duh, no mention of using one but a surge protector is in order here, it is a computer after all. I will mount it vertical on a table leg near the wall.

I agree, the shortness of all these cables drives me nuts. I have seen a couple people post some diff size cables etc. Would be nice to have a compiled list of all the proper names of cables and some links on where to get them. Here is the one I saw that Im getting for the THC. Will need two of them if running THC. https://www.ebay.com/itm/10ft-DC-Power-Extension-Cable-Cord-5-5x2-1mm-10-feet-3M-for-CCTV-Camera-DVR/131742796702?_trkparms=aid%3D555021%26algo%3DPL.SIMRVI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D228238%26meid%3D758184a533e845c8b1b54e8ccc5cf637%26pid%3D100042%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D7%26mehot%3Dpf%26sd%3D274311773388%26itm%3D131742796702%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2508447%26algv%3DSimplRVIAMLv5WebWithPLRVIOnTopCombiner&_trksid=p2508447.c100042.m2062

You can get a replacement power cord up to 25’ long. (lower gauge wire the better).25’ power cord on amazon
The connection needed on the Lanmuir electronics cabinet is a standard IEC 60320 C13, like that used on most electronic equipment like computers.
I don’t know if this length of cable is recommended by langmuir, and my posting here is only to inform you that they exist. I have not tried on my unit so I can’t recommend one way or the other.
Good Luck.

I’ve been using one of these ever since with he original crossfire and now with the Pro. no issues. It just extends the actual power cable.

Since I need to buy “something” I will go with the surge protector for another $5-$10
