Well only one tube the powder coating is coming off , and the gantry was only pushed back and forth about 30 times by hand. One tube is perfect the other looks like it was never prepped properly. Nice and smooth steel underneath. 1 photo shows the top 2nd is the bottom of the bad tube. Don’t know why they did not just use stainless tube. Why would they powder coat something to run on a bearing surface.
mines doing the same thing only ran the break in program then one little quick bottle opener file to make sure it worked lol

Is that the tube weld that is rippled and making the situation worse?
No the tube is fine, photo just looks that way. I am going to remove all the coating where the pulleys ride. It will be a lot smoother on the pulleys as they transverse the tube.
Is that you riding an F7 in your avatar? Or is it a newer engine…I cant tell. It looks more boxy. You build it?
