Plazma cutter no longer firing

Thanks for the reply, i did have the wrong nozzle on it so i changed it to a 1mm, which i had, and run the program again and it started to cut through but not consistently, i am going to get some 0.9 to see if that makes it even better. My air flow does drop of below 75psi but will try another hose connection to see if that makes it better as it is quite thin. What should the AMPs be on the plasma cutter, i have it at 30, is that too low.
Thanks Bigdaddy, i tried what you said as soon as i saw your post but it didn’t do much with the other stuff that was wrong.

Even better, i upped the amp to 42 and finally did my first cut, completely.

“As having to 80 amp torch what number is on the cutting tip, it should be a 0.9mm/40 amp or a 1.0mm/50 amp. If its a 1.1,1.2 or 1.3 its to large and will not work.”

That is fantastic info, thanks. If i could buy you a beer i would, but i will have one for you instead.
