Plasma Torch guard - do I need it?

Should I take off the metal two prong guard if I am using it on CNC ? Also what is suggested cutting height for the Everlast 52i ? I have pierce height at .15 right now. Cut height 0.059

Yes. It’s not needed on a CNC table.

I think that was messing up my first cut. A few settings adjustment and now I have a nice cut out!

Yeah. Having that on the torch will really mess up your torch height.
