Have any of you just bolted the plasma machine ground cable to a slate or used a magnetic ground lug instead of the clamp? I feel like clamp looks crappy and always concerned it get caught on something ?
A lot of guys use the magnetic clamp, you want the work clamp attached directly to material you are cutting. Attaching the work clamp to a Slatt will cause misfires due to material not having good contact with work clamp.

Appreciate the response I will go ahead and invest the n a nice one as I like that idea better then the clamp.
