Pierce point cut goes off

start cut goes out of line at pierce point. what do I need to do to fix this?

I can’t understand what the problem is. Could you try to describe what the problem is in more detail.

when the torch starts the cut the initial start point is just off of the line then the torch cuts true to the end of the line or loop circle.

That would normally be called a lead in. If you’re using Fusion, set the pierce clearance to zero. If you have a value in pierce clearance, it will act the same as a lead in

If you are making a single line cut, meaning not cutting out a closed loop, you may need to change to “Center Compensation” so the pierce point is ON the line, not NEXT TO the line.

A picture of your cut would really be helpful.

Or supply your f3d file if you are using with Fusion 360.
