Our new XR table LIVES!

So after dangers untold and and hardships unnumbered I have fought my way through the assembly and setup process and have emerged VICTORIOUS!

I super appreciate all the folks on this forum and the Facebook groups who helped me. There was a host of things we did wrong or just kinda screwed up. And with that should anybody find this post and want additional information let me share a few things.

First off - make sure that your limit switches are correct. We had the X and Y2 swapped. We thought we had them right the first time but until we were actually running them and couldn’t figure out why it was showing an open circuit.

The big thing that bit us in the butt was the lead screws. We couldn’t seem to to find the right tension (I still think it’s off as we’re getting a lot of vibration when rapiding). I’d love to to get some actual torque spec on those but I guess just trial and error will work.

Oh - and the water table didn’t leak at all! This pleases me.

Our first run on the table was 29 of these signs with another 16 to go on Sunday. I’m so glad I didn’t have to do these on the small table. @langmuir-cameron is awesome - I didn’t get a chance to speak with him but he knew what to suggest that got us on the right track.
