Hello community, I’m finally getting around to setting up my pro table. I wanted to know true opinions on the Primeweld cut60 vs the Everlast 62i.
I ordered a cut60 and have the option to return it, I just opened the box and im not that impressed with the build quality on the cut60. I have also been reading about bad experiences with it and lots of dross/slag.
My table will not see material much thicker than 1/4", I will mostly be using it with thinner material and with finer detail designs.
Everlast, without any doubt. Go to the little spyglass and type in Primeweld Cut 60.
Read the first 50 threads, and then you decide.
Just my opinion fellas
Im very new to this, would you consider the PTM-60 torch comparable to the UPM-105? I’ve read the cconsumables last longer on the 105? I can get a great deal on a ptm-60 but if I will be going through consumables twice as fast the 105 sounds better.
I’ve also read alot of piercing issues & dross with the 105 as time goes on.
I have used a ptm 80 torch for almost five years.
The consumables are relatively low cost.
The time your consumables last will depend on your air system’s moisture content.
And you are using the correct amp tip that matches your plasma amp setting.
The Hypertherm torch is very good. If it is a true Hypertherm torch or a Chinese copy. It’s the plasma cutter that has the track record.
I gave you my opinion on the Everlast. A lot of guys have primeweld Cut 60 that work great and then there is the issues that continue to pop up.
That’s just my opinion. I will get all the (mine works great) emails after this posts. Just read the forum threads like I told you—one problem after another.
