Nub Question about Razor Weld cut 45

In the manual it talks about air pressure being pre set.

I put a regulator in my air line when setting up for the table. What is the recommended PSI feeding the plasma cutter or does it even matter?

Air pressure to the plasma cutter should be 100 to 120 psi. The gauge on the plasma cutter should read 70 to 75 psi with air flowing from the torch.

I did not look at the gadge on the cutter when it was cutting. I have the inline regulator at 60 psi to the cutter. Thank you I will turn it up

At first, I adjusted the regulator to 100. Then I cut, the pressure gauge on the machine stayed at 62 while cutting. I then raised incoming air to 120 and cut agin it is still at 62 so I went to 140 and cut still sitting at about 62 while cutting. Should I be concerned?

You have a restriction or bad regulator on the plasma cutter itself, you want 70-75 psi when cutting.

Thank you, I will check it out.

I just found this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIbJIKgCMOc

I hope this will do the trick.

Take the cover off and adjust the regulator to get the right air pressure. If it won’t adjust then the regulator is bad and needs to be replaced or I would recommend bypassed.

I have a RW45 and just turned the internal regulator up all the way. I control pressure by A regulator I added before the RW45
