Not sure what i am asking.?

I have been going through some threads( that has help ALOT!! Thank you everyone).Not sure where this question falls. i received my crossfire pro in Sept 2025, so i am new. I have been doing project’s by extracting a body then go to manufacture > setup then cut. How do i make these cuts? Just a start and stop cut They don’t show up in a body to cut. I don’t know what this type of cut is called to search. Thank you.

Relief cuts , i found a (maybe not the answer) answer. and have learned a few things lol. I am learning to make cut profiles with using a body.

Excuse the incorrect use of terminology as I made this video super quick for someone on FB, but the execution is described in the video.

What CAD/CAM tools are you using? The process is different for each.

I believe @TinWhisperer has videos also

@michael75 welcome to the forum

Disregard adding the machine to the setup phase that’s a byproduct of a forgotten age

Hey Michael, welcome to the forum.

That file appears to need a lot of work unless you are cutting a very large version. There are so many very narrow spaces and gaps I’d be very surprised if you can get a toolpath to generate or get it to cut successfully.

I cut it at 17in it was not bad not bad. Center section is at 15in. I cut with with amps alittle to high. Had some dross to clean ,lol

That looks great. Works better than I thought it would. Dross is hard to avoid on detail like that.

Heck yeah! That looks great and I’m glad you proved me wrong! I would have thought even at that scale you would lose some of plant material above the dorsal fin.
