I have been watching for when the Primeweld Cut60 is back in stock and They’ve been promising on all new unit build for a little while. I also saw that HF has had their Titanium welding and plasma units on sell this weekend for 30% off and that would include the Titanium 65. I think that would have put it right at 700 USD not including tax which was pretty comparable but probably not quite in quality… I won’t really say I know better to be fair, but if I was going to spend around that price point I think the primeweld unit has a better track record overall. That said they have the PW Cut60 in stock now and my price including ground delivery today was 594 at checkout. My decisions been made and if you were on the fence and wondering and don’t need it in your shop ASAP that is the direction I went. Just figured I would let you guys know for anyone else that has been waiting for it to return to stock.
Yeah, that price is too hard to resist. I ordered one as well. Mine is 1st generation. It will be 6 years old in May or June. I’ve been wanting to try a later generation unit and see if there is any noticeable difference.
And, I have a friend who needs a plasma for handheld work, so he’ll take my old one.
I wasn’t sure which kit of consumables to order so I will wait for it to come in and take a closer look and see. Hopefull it is the same stuff but we’ll see.
Already showing “Shipped” via Fedex.
I got mine Thursday. Have not had a chance to mess with it yet. It’s a little too cold in my shop right now for my taste but i can affirm that the unit is very beefy in weight, especially compared to the bestarc “50 amp” unit. I guess I’ve learned a little about buy once and buy right.
