No torch fire after pause/restart

First time I have paused my machine to clear a tip-up. Upon restart the torch moves immediately but will not re-fire. talked to tech and they sent me a new start relay but that was not the problem. Same issue. I can only suspect an issue with fire control at the pause/restart function. Seems to me a g-code would be generated to start the torch again prior to movement but I don’t know. Torch fires as expected normally until I use pause then restart. I am running the latest fire control software on a windows tablet. TIA

Welcome back to The forum.

Are you pausing mid cut?

If you’re pausing mid cut you’ll have to start from a line.

If you didn’t pause on the rapid between cut loops, it won’t fire the torch until it gets to the next loop.

The only way for it to generate a new start point is to click on the line where you want to restart. Then choose to run from line or loop and it will generate a new program to cut from that point forward.

So the trick is to pause at the end of a loop. Tried that and that works. Thanks When I pause while cutting, I cannot find the loop/line prompt. What pulls that up? I select a line that highlights but no prompt.

You “run from” or “start from”

I don’t have Firecontrol to tell you exactly what it is, but it’s right there either at the top or bottom of the box that displays your G code.

Can’t miss it.

I wasn’t resetting the program after the pause. When I did that I got the prompt to line/loop. Thanks.
