So here is something I have not seen before. I was cutting out some hornet models from 1/8 inch mild steel. Settings on the RZW 45 were 110 ipm, 40 amps. I was on my 10th setup, I think, and this popped up on my screen. I cleared it and tried to reload the program. It was very persistent. So, after a few choice words and perhaps questioning its absolute need to continue its existence, I powered everything down and let things cool some. Snuck into the house and absconded with a bottle of Jack. (Told the wife I had work to do so I wouldn’t have to help pick colors) Anywho, I returned to my lair and turned everything back on. No Issues. Until a few hours later. I was cutting a 3-point quick connect hook out of 1/4" mild steel, and the same thing happened. Repeated the same series of steps, minus the Jack, and it worked fine. Cut out the hook parts and that was the end of the cutting for the night. Have not used it since. Just curious if this is familiar to anyone. And what it means
I’ve been getting that error a lot also. Either corrupt program, or power surge is my guess.
Power surge would make the most sense. I was running the same program on left over metal to use it up. I’M not the most computer savvy, so who knows.
