New to fusion and need help with cut path

New to this. Trying to cut with my new crossfire pro paired with the titanium 45 for the first time. I have my plasma added to the tool library with settings ( Nozzle Diameter 1’“ and Kerf width 0.55in).** i have adjusted kerf width down to 0.43in with no luck. I have also followed several Youtube tutorials on designing and creating a cut using Fusion 360. I am having issues generating a cut path. I am extruding my parts but when selecting a geometry it will not allow me to generate a path by clicking the body. even if i click “chains” and select all the lines when running the cut simulation all i get is a line across the top of the part i wish to cut. any and every bit of help will be much appreciated, very eager to get started cutting by feel like its something super simple keeping me from generating a cut path and getting started. Check out “Spicer Designs- Easy Button” is one of the main videos i am trying to “mock”. I am unable to get past the geometry setup part in manufacturing stage. thanks.

So it sounds like you’re not able to select your geometry?

If so, make sure you don’t have any broken lines zoom in and make sure that everything‘s connected

Another option would be to hold down the control key and select each line individually

I was able to get most of it figured out. I was working in the “Front” view but my X and Y planes were off. Fixed that now I’m working the bugs out on getting a tool path for everything in my drawings. I’ll definitely look into your suggestion and see if it helps with my next struggle. Thank you

Um, I may be wrong but I think that is the “alt” key and not the control key.

You might be right. I know it’s in that area

You can post the file here and we can try and help.

Click on File, Export, Autodesk… f3d, and attach here.

You’re off by a factor of ten. Kerf should be around 45 thou.
