Trying to cut .1875 304 ss wont go thru cutting at 40 inches per min do I need to cut down the feed using hypertherm 30 max

A few thing that you need to look at. The plasma cutter is a little under powered for 3/16" stainless. Make sure your air pressure is right, torch height about .045", maxed out on amps, new consumables and about 20 ipm.
