I’m still surprised they haven’t made a router head with vacuum system on XR since the merger with ShopSabre. They could be owning the under 10k budget friendly market. The really nice thing about the new brake press to me is that it shows growth and not shutting down. The company that don’t keep improving is the one that closes its doors.
So, did they ‘merge’ with Shop Saber or are they just an authorized dealer? Kind of kicking round buying the machine from them as they are a whole lot closer to me than Conroe, Texas is so shipping would be substantially less, In fact I could just pick it up and save the freight entirely. Be a nice 3 day trip with my tandem axle Gooseneck, 1 out, 1 to nose around and 1 back.
This is getting confusing. Who owns what and what owns who and will any of that impact machines sold presently and finally, who is in California? Are they the original owners of Langmuir?
I’m not about to buy a 7 grand machine and then have the support or upgrades vanish. Been down that road before and it’s a bumpy one.
Maybe I should just buy a 37 grand Shop Saber and be done with it. Afterall, it’s only money…
Maybe you should. You’re the one that needs to be happy. I think you will need a lot more than 7k to buy one of theirs. I think the small one is 15k, and the comparable with XR is 37k.
