Good idea to know the capability of it on steel…1/4" steel around 24" long?
Full disclosure, my press is old, it isn’t the HF one and the ram leaks… that’s the reason for the lower price. One benefit is it automatically lubes the dies and prevents corrosion. The swag break is the only similarity between mine and @ChelanJim I also have the upgraded bottom die set… which doubles as an oil catch
EDIT: mine also comes with a nifty pump handle that falls out if you let go of it at the bottom of the down stroke. Helps you get your stretches and lunges in… you get a workout and shop time simultaneously… no need for a gym membership.
With a vee-die opening of 2.5" or greater it can be done.
Note the adjustment at the bottom for material other then mild steel
That’s why i write in pencil…

what is the maximum CNC back gauge depth?
just came out today
Make sure if you guys are buying yourself a Xmas gift you don’t forget about getting something for the wife…
My wife has a couple of pairs of those already… I had no idea they were mops… just thought they were comfortable slippers. …Now I feel bad…
The real question is, when your wife got them did she use them properly (mop the floor) or did she just act like they were regular slippers?
Good point… I haven’t seen her mop with them yet. Maybe I better let her know.
My daughter mentioned she wanted some kitchen appliance. Her husband said “Maybe I’ll get that for you for Christmas!”
Now keep in mind, she just spent $12k buying him a brand new dirt bike as a surprise for his birthday Nov. 4th.
She turned on him like a tiger and said quite tersely “No. Maybe I’ll get it for YOU for your Christmas present.” My wife was present to see the exchange.
Good times!!!
Oh man… I am getting tremors just reading that… but I was damaged by women’s rage at a young age. I was standing at the top of the stairs when both of my oldest brother’s girlfriends discovered each other for the first time. I ended up right between them when the laser eyes came out… burned right through me. My brother wasn’t even home… I had to absorb the brunt of the altercation… Its why I tell people I married late in life… nobody should have to go through that in their youth.
It does beg the question should I start saving money to buy the inevitable 60-ton 6-ft version that ll be released in 2 years? Titan 60T. I’m sure a Fusion 360 file is already started.
Answer. Yes I should while I’m making money with this 33-in version.
I’ve been watching for years trying to get a reasonably priced acupress 60 *ton 6 ft CNC brake. And one day one showed up only miles away from my place and of course I thought about it and miss the deal… Still lamenting
And I’m not sure what the Titan’s bend software is called? maybe BendControl, or FabControl? I wonder if they’ll be branching out into any profile bending machines using a extension of this software?
I am very much looking forward to receiving the Titan 25T in 2024!
BigDaddy would say “Buy both!”
I have three different generations of circular saws, jig saws and sanders. It doesn’t end until your interest in making stuff subsides.
People say I have a tool problem… I tell them nope I found the solution just need more mad money.
I noticed that on the advertising sign, it says “CNC back gauge add on available”. Why wouldn’t that come standard? It’s a CNC brake press - that’s the CNC part of it! I put my deposit in - but I am really hoping that with all the add on’s it doesn’t add another 2k. Also, do you think it will come with any tooling? I know it’s early yet - but it would be nice to know what we are putting our money down for.
Remember they will refund your deposit if you change your mind. I am going to see how it pans out and if turns out I like it fine if not I will ask for a refund
Well now you have me thinking the same thing.
I put my deposit in. I too have a harbor freight special i will be happy to sell for the right very high price!
