New plasma table trouble shooting(Solved)

I just bought a brand new Crossfire XR off of FB marketplace because the previous owner passed away before ever making a cut on it. I am running into an issue where when I set it to cut anything it will move around like its doing a dry run but it won’t actually cut anything or blow any air. I followed the attached video to do the plasma cutter wiring. I did have to do some rigging for the torch on off wire due to it not coming with the machine where I took the cable from an old charger with a similar 2-prong connector on one end. it needed some modification to fit in the port but it seemed to go in alright. I was trying to avoid finding an actual replacement. the plasma cutter is a prime weld cut 60 if you have any other questions or need additional photos let me know.

this is the “custom” port

That plug doesn’t fit a primeweld 60
You will need to follow the directions to wire the Blue CNC port on the back.

Pins 1 & 2 to the torch on/off at control box.
Pins 6+& 4- to the VMI box pay attention to the + and - pins on the divided voltage pins.

That is how I have it wired. My custom plug is what plugs into the torch on/off port on the back of the table control box.

Air pressure?

Dry fire torch from fire control? Not a cut program, just torch on.

Fire torch by hand (not a machine torch?)?

Short torch on terminals on the plasma cutter side, not control box.

That torch on/off plug is not an aircraft-style plug. How did you get it to fit? That’s a first, but it works. When the machine is running, the torch should fire if you jump out the two pins on the homemade plug.

Air pressure is good and the cutter works when I use the hand torch (the table does have a Machine torch) I shorted the torch on/off wires and it still did noting

Make sure the on/off is wired to pins1 and 2. Air pressure should be 70 psi.

I double checked, and shorted the pins directly by bypassing my homemade wiring.

But the hand torch fires by hand?

With the other hand torch yes

I’m confused, what torch is connected to the table? The hand torch that fires the plasma or another torch?

I have a Machine torch connected to the gantry of the table, and a separate hand torch that works by itself

Are the pins at the plasma end the same? The machine torch will have two less pins but the pins that are on it should match the hand torch.

Two pins in 5 and 6 pilot arc.
Two pins in 1and 2 torch on/off

they seem to be different, the one on the right is the machine torch and the left is the hand torch.

There is the problem. Can you read the numbers on the pins?

Send a message to @mechanic416 . His name is George. He can tell you how to move the pins.
