Good morning I am new to Fusion 360 and plasma cutting. When I watch the videos on how to do things the first thing they do is select a plane if I am not mistaken it looks like the one they select is front with the green going vertical the X going horizontal, and the Z at the bottom

I think most people select the X/Y plane, so the Z direction is up. But whichever works best for you is okay.

I always click the top of the box in the upper right hand corner.
