New machine issues, can't get through the break in program without binding/stopping

Well I’m not sure I am helping much, if you keep trying you will find it. Post again if you run across something new

Another area you could easily check is the power supply, could be faulty, if it doesnt have close to 37 volts than it will cause some motors to not have enough power, one motor will have power to move correctly and the other wont have enough power to move hence the machine will “bind.”
The little adjustment screw in the power supply box is very sensitive, I wiggled it with my philips and it caused the voltage to change so if you do have to adjust it youll have do to it slowly

Thanks bcdemaran.
I will check that as I am still having an issue and at a loss. I assume I just open the box and put a vom meter on the ac voltage and see what the output is. Anything else I need to know about checking it, does the machine need to be running or is the voltage always present on the power supply?

This is a document Langmuir shared with me to check the power supply as well as the drive motors, it explains everything you would need to check
Yes the machine will need to be on for you to check the voltages with a volt meter

Awesome. Thank you! I was thinking it should be DC, after I typed it but figured you would correct me if need be. Thank you for the document, that is perfect. I guess I worded the machine running part poorly, I know it needs to be on, does it need to be actively cutting or is the voltage supplied just by turning it on? No need to answer that part, I’m sure I can figure that out:)

The machine does not need to be cutting to check the voltage, just needs to be powered on, i hope that is the problem for you because its a really simple and easy fix, and the power supply is a cheap part to replace

Well, I didn’t get lucky, its not the voltage. Right on at 36.

Wwwwweeeeeelllll thats a bummer, sorry to hear that. Only other thing I can think of that ive had an issue with as well as other people is to use a lightweight oil like 3 in 1 oil instead of grease, it can be to thick for the motors and cause them to bind, I use the 3 in 1 oil liberally so that the bearings and felt wipers are not dry
