My spark arrest setup

I made 3 spark stoppers for my crossfire pro for safety sake. I used pvc pipe and coil sheet metal. I was gonna use Plexiglas but it is outrageously priced since it blocks covid. Lol. Just thought I would share my idea.

Good idea! I wonder if anyone has used fiberglass welding fabric?

@George I’m wondering why the left side is higher? I ask because I haven’t fired my CFP yet and have no idea what the spark dynamics are.

Since I have RaceDeck flooring in my garage I use a welding blanket under my table and extend it out a couple of feet. Works great at keeping the sparks off the tiles so I am sure it would work great attached to a vertical frame.

Thanks for the info. I think I’ll attach the frames so they can be folded up when needed and lowered when I want to get to the table. My space is too small for anything else sitting on the floor.

I’ve always thought hanging welding curtains all the way around and putting a ventilator in the top of the curtains would be a good idea. The curtains would guide the fumes right into the exhaust ventilator.
