MR-1 WCS Z Offset

Ive got a through bore in my part from my first operation that im trying to use to zero for my second op. The issue is that when I select the bore for the wcs the orgin is on the top and centered on the bore. This leaves about 0.300 of material above the model not acounted for so the part isnt machined to the specfied thickness. Is there a way to raise Z to the top of the stock while still being centered on the bore?

Ive also tried just using the XYZ corner probe but had issues with the part lining up when flipping for the second op.

Just move the Z up the amount you want from 0 and hit the zero button on Z

I acutally have to move it down. I was worried about it being too deep of a depth of cut but it should be fine. Running it now seems to be right.

Also, you could have run the Z probe routine next to the bore, it won’t change your XY zero.

Thats what I did.
